Billboards

Digital Photography is used in Billboard advertisement to attract target audiences attention and persuade them into purchasing the produce. Companies will then benefit from the increased sales and higher profit. Nike has included a slogan and their world wide famous logo, in their billboard advertisement to make the company appear recognisable to the audience. The logo contains trainers inside the tick shape which is an inventive way to advertise their main element of produce- trainers. The background of this billboard is white so that the logo is eye-catching.

 

Magazines

    

Digital Photography is used in magazines for the purpose of the front cover and centre image of the celebrity or model. The image is big enough to make an impact on the news-stand, with the celebrity/individual making full eye contact. This typically appears as the foreground of the magazine, with the masthead and some cover lines. Therefore the image is eye-catching to the audience.

Newspapers 

    

In magazines, digital photography is used to add imagery and photos to appear to viewers. Photojournalism is a key aspect of Newspaper photography, as it captures ‘the story’ in an image that can be presented to an audience, attracting attention therefore creating profit for the newspaper companies. Celebrities are often used as a recognisable cover image so that the newspaper is eye-catching and appealing.

An online magazine is a magazine published on the Internet, through bulletin board systems and other forms of public computer networks. One of the first magazines to convert from a print magazine format, being online only was the computer magazine Datamation.

Digital photography is used in some modern books for the front cover, which make it appear eye-catching and draw the attention of the audience. Also, a recent book trend of 2017 is incorporating images or photographs into the middle section of the book.

A web page is a document that is suitable for the World Wide Web and web browsers. A web browser displays a web page on a monitor or mobile device.
